The Pippa Rolls Cushion manufacturing process

In our opinion beautifully made cushions are the finishing touches that pull a colour scheme together. In the past we have coordinated them with fabrics chosen from the wide range available in our studio, but now we offer the same coordinated option on our Webshop.

How it works
When you choose a fabric from within our Roman blind or Curtain categories you will see a selection of fabrics that have been carefully coordinated to bring your colour scheme together and add the touch of luxury that only a bespoke made cushion can.

Choosing the right sizes
Our cushions are available in four different sizes :
45cms square
50cms square
55cms square
55cms x 38cms rectangles

There is no set rule to what size you use where but if you are stuck, we would suggest using the two smaller sizes for sofas, armchairs and single beds and the larger size for double beds from standard 4ft 6 inches up to California Kingsize. The rectangular cushions are fantastic on any of the above.

Good to know:
We meticulously cut and overlock all the fabrics used for our cushion manufacturing. This makes them a thing of beauty from within as well as from the outside.  As standard, we use a beige coloured zip that we cleverly conceal close to the piping at the base of each cushion. This also means our cushions are reversible, making them double the wow-factor as a result.

Whether or not you prefer to 'karate chop' them at the top or on each side, we use only the best piping cords and zips to ensure they stand the test of time.

Call us 'feather-ists' but we just prefer the effect of a well plumped feather cushion. Somehow hollow fibre pads just look like they have been pumped up and the covers never sit properly. For this reason we will only use feathers.

Computer screens interpret colour pigment differently and therefore as with all our fabrics, we recommend you order a cutting so you can make sure the colour match is perfect before ordering your cushions.
